This playful multi-space renovation in Detroit's Historic Boston Edison brings new interest to the mudroom, stairway, and attic, which is reimagined as a game room, library, home theater, and bathroom. The design includes a large table for board games and ample shelves for displaying games, books, and collectible comics. A glass partition separates the home theater area containing a projector, screen, couch, and built-in drink niche. Beyond the theater room, a cozy reading nook entices you with built-in bookshelves and a mini-bar niche for drinks and popcorn. Hidden bookshelf doors conceal two offices for work and video games.

In the renovated bathrooms, the geometric tile color shift defines separate areas while maintaining a sense of openness and calm. Colorful cast concrete sink, geometric mirrors, matte black fixtures, and minimal vanity pendants bring a playful vibe to the clean palette.
