Kaleidoscope is a collaborative, interactive, and kinetic installation that combines reflective and refractive forms within a mirrored mylar prism. Color-changing LED lamps illuminate the display, creating a dynamic experience that shifts throughout the day and night, refracting city scenery and passersby into a mesmerizing array of overlapping images.

Similar to the beloved handheld toy, Kaleidoscope is constructed from simple materials such as fluorescent light diffusers, greenhouse Mylar, cardboard, and screws. These elements work together with the LED lights to produce endlessly shifting visual interest and excitement.
